Features appearing on a restaurant’s website are highly configurable and can easily be turned on or off. OLO’s highly customizable CSS-driven semantic HTML templates can be modified to suit any client’s branding. CSS development can be handled by either OLO’s creative team or an outside creative agency (whichever option is preferred).
High Availability
Reliability has been engineered into the very core of OLO’s platform. Redundancy with automatic failover and self-healing is built into every aspect of the system.
Sophisticated monitoring and diagnostic tools oversee vital signs of each system component, restaurant availability, and order delivery, triggering backup workflows and escalating to OLO’s technical team as necessary. Equipment is kept well below capacity even at peak times to ensure that sudden surges in demand never overload the system. In an extreme event, graceful self-degradation logic will switch off all non-essential services to protect the core ordering platform.
Extensible
OLO’s loosely coupled architecture allows for the addition of new features, POS integrations, billing methods, loyalty schemes, UI templates, discount rules, client facing applications and more, without modifying existing code. A RESTful Platform API is available to any developers who wish to integrate with OLO’s ordering platform.
