Catering+ account management
What it is: A hierarchical structure for business-level catering accounts, consolidating key details, and streamlining lead generation and account management processes
How it works: Catering+ account management enables sales managers to create parent-level accounts, link individual guests, and easily manage key details, store assignments, and lead tracking through a unified system.
Why it matters: Catering sales managers no longer have to contend with inefficiencies and fragmentation in managing B2B accounts—including duplicated efforts, inadequate lead management, and reporting challenges—due to disparate software.
How restaurants benefit: Catering sales managers now have a comprehensive view of guest data. They can easily create house accounts, manage accounts across multiple stores, transition existing house accounts into the new system, and track catering opportunities. Ultimately, Catering+ account management simplifies operations and empowers your team to drive sales.
How guests benefit: Now that corporate and franchise house accounts can be isolated, guests of franchise locations can use house accounts—a convenient line of credit that makes checkout seamless. Additionally, with streamlined client tracking and account management, Catering Sales Managers have better visibility into leads and accounts, providing smoother, more efficient interactions for guests seeking out catering.
New interactive map to improve store discoverability
What it is: Coming soon, a new interactive map with address autocomplete to help guests discover and order from nearby restaurants
How it works: Guests ordering from a restaurant using Serve—Olo’s white-label online ordering solution—will be able to quickly find nearby locations on an interactive map in the store locator section and input their address with minimal effort thanks to autocomplete functionality.
Why it matters: The smoother the ordering process, the less likely a guest is to abandon their cart. This feature will reduce drop-off rates, speed up the ordering process, and enhance the overall guest experience.
How restaurants benefit: By eliminating friction from the ordering process, restaurants can increase their conversion rate and guest satisfaction.
How guests benefit: Guests will be able to find the restaurant closest to them in an intuitive and visually engaging way—without having to type out their entire address or scroll through a long list of locations.
Simplified Borderless and loyalty sign-in
What it is: A simple sign-in/sign-up flow in Olo Serve that prioritizes loyalty sign-ups and makes it easier for guests to use their loyalty account alongside a passwordless checkout experience on future orders
How it works: Olo’s Borderless sign-in experience has been updated to help increase loyalty program participation while making checkout fast and efficient. The update prioritizes loyalty program sign-up while still using Borderless, so guests can easily sign in and accrue and redeem loyalty rewards for future orders without entering a password.
Why it matters: Guests used to have the option to sign in with their loyalty or Borderless account. This confused guests and concerned brands looking to boost loyalty participation. The new experience prioritizes loyalty participation and enables guests to enjoy the perks of accelerated checkout.
How restaurants benefit: Borderless guests sign in more frequently, convert at a higher rate, and order more frequently than guests who use “guest checkout” or sign in with a password. You can drive more loyalty sign-ups, repeat business, and overall guest lifetime value by enabling a passwordless sign-in for your loyalty program.
How guests benefit: Guests can reap the rewards of your restaurant’s loyalty program and securely speed through checkout without having to remember a password or manually enter credit card information on every transaction.
Qu POS customers can now process in-store payments with Olo Pay
What it is: Card-present payment processing for Qu POS customers with Olo Pay

Leveraging modern and reliable payment terminals, brands will be able to consolidate 100% of direct in-store and online transactions in one platform and provide guests with a seamless payment experience on-premise.

Additionally, by processing 100% of payments with Olo Pay, brands will be able to tie in-store and digital transactions to individual guests, unlocking actionable insight into their behavior and lifetime value.
