About OPGA
The Off Premises Growth Academy (OPGA) is an advisory firm focused on the global foodservice industry, and is based out of Vancouver, Canada. The founder of the academy is Erle Dardick, a 25-year veteran as an operator, educator and technologist in the foodservice industry.
Erle created MONKEY & The Catering Institute, a B2B (Business to Business) order management technology platform and a school, which foodservice operators use to grow sales and increase profits in their takeout, delivery and catering channels.
In addition, Erle is the author of numerous books & essays, including “Get Catering & Grow Sales: A Strategic Perspective for the Multi-Unit Restaurant Executive, and he created a business framework called the “5 Pillars of Successful Takeout, Delivery and Catering” which he used for certification and training within the foodservice industry, using the Catering Institute as his body of work. Erle is also a renowned speaker and presenter and has spent decades sharing his ideas on stages across the globe, at industry conferences and franchise conventions.
Erle successfully sold MonkeyMedia Software and the Catering Institute to ezCater in 2019.
Today, The OPGA provides advisory services related to takeout, delivery & catering, across the globe. The OPGA works closely with executive teams across multiple foodservice segments, with services focused on leadership development, coaching and advisory services.
